Hi all!
I don't make a habit of giving away all my details to people I don't know so forgive me if I'm a little vague, but I can tell you I'm 14, from England and love rock and metal, especially LP. Linkin Park have been my fave band since Christmas 2006 when I heard Breaking the Habit on a music video and liked it so much that I had to chase up the band.
I play rugby, hockey and participate in athletics whenever I can. I play guitar and have been doing so for 2 years now (for christmas I got the Hybrid Theory guitar book) and my guitar teacher plays bass in a newly-formed British band called Replenish (check them out, just type "Replenish" in Google) and I'm very lucky to have him. I'm only 14 and my fave subjects are English, Drama, History, Art, Music and games/P.E which are the subjects that appeal mostly to my imagination. I've got no idea what I would like to be in later life though being a rock star would be amazing but at the moment it looks like law.
I like music which I'm able to listen to and almost drift away in. I know it sounds wierd and sometimes I think that too, but I think the imagination is a great thing and I love to explore it as often as I can (I constantly write down lyrics and guitar chords combinations just to see what I can come up with). Linkin Park fits the bill perfectly for me. The first song of theirs I heard was while I was watching a completely obscure music video but "Breaking the Habit" was playing in the backround and I remember just thinking "WOW"! I've been an LP fan for just over three years now but sadly for me I couldn't see them in London because it was a school day and my parents said things just wouldn't work out. I remember lying awake in my bed at the exact time the concert was going on, wondering which songs were being played and feeling really jealous because one of my friends who I introduced Linkin Park to only a month previously was going (Ironic isn't it?). But later on I got to see them finally at Milton Keynes in the Road to Revolution Tour (on DVD), so the best day of my life has been saved for me to remember.
The members of Linkin Park have many individual traits which have coincided to create one amazing band. Sometimes though, it can be hard to remember why they are our favourite group. What does it for YOU?
